Description
Students will learn about (or review) the second half of Texas History: the Civil War, Reconstruction, the frontier and conflicts with Native Americans, cattle ranching and cowboys, Spindletop, the Galveston Hurricane of 1900, Progressive Era, WWI, the Roaring 20s, the Great Depression and New Deal, WW2, the Cold War, Texas' Constitutions, and MORE!
These 65+ activities include jigsaws, gallery walks, timelines, task cards, PowerPoints, true/false/fix, one pagers, reference sheets, review games, primary source analysis resources (including image analysis and creative tasks), image and caption matching, writing prompts, map activities, learning packets, newspaper front page activities, editable tests, and more!
