Description
This product is a great teaching strategy to have students understand the role of the Catholic Church during the Medieval Age. The product includes a copy of the reading and a PowerPoint to guide you and the students through the TRTW (Talk, Read, Talk, Write) Strategy. The PowerPoint also includes a Warm-Up!
How this activity works:
Students will begin with analyzing a quote. Then they will start by looking at pictures and develop a thesis on how these items influence their daily lives. Next they will read the article. After reading the article students will talk about what they read to gain a fuller understanding. Finally the students will write a paragraph on a question based off what they have learned.
I love this activity. The activity engages students and works well with all levels of students.
The product is a ZIP file and includes both a Word Doc (the article) and student worksheet to guide the TRTW process and the PowerPoint.
