Description
The Amarna Period (Akhenaten, Nefertiti, and Three Daughters) + How to Write the Unknown Attribution Short Essay Question - AP Art History - Digital Notebook - Egyptian Art
Mix up your class lessons with this interactive digital notebook on the Amarna Period in Egyptian Art. This lesson combines activities, visual analysis, and class lecture all in one. Students will learn about the form, function, content, and context of Akhenaten, Nefertiti, and Three Daughters while utilizing their art critical thinking skills. In addition to this, students will be introduced to the unknown attribution short essay question. After learning about the basics, they will answer a prompt independently.
When I teach this lesson, students have already had a more in-depth lesson on how to answer short essay questions in general, with an emphasis on the contextualization short essay question. Therefore, this lesson will not go as in-depth as the contextualization lesson, but it will provide a brief overview of what the unknown attribution question entails as well as tips to remember when answering the prompt.
