Description
Students will watch and analyze a 7 and a half minute video on the causes and effects of the Armenian Genocide, its course/nature, and relevant individuals and groups involved by answering 28 questions and completing an extension task.
The answers are included where appropriate and the video is from TedEd.
Sample questions include:
--What remained constant for Armenians despite the changes around them over the span of their existence?
--Could 1683 be considered a turning point in Armenian history, why or why not?
--How did the Armenians move forward after the Hamidian massacres?
--Who was Pasha and what role did he play in these events?
--On what grounds did he give that order?
--Identify a challenge or shortcoming that could be associated with the answer to #20.
