Description
Students will read a primary source on the Middle Ages Plague (Black Death), answer 17 questions, and complete 5 creative activities which partly include creating a museum exhibit, making "Warning: Plague Here" signs, discussing how people would rebuild their town and lives after such devastation, and more! This would be great for a sub and the answers are included where appropriate!
Sample questions include:
--Inferring from the text, why did some people rush to religion and others turn away from it as the plague spread across Europe?
--Explain why it seemed as though all semblance of law and order had disappeared.
--What was the cruel policy that all the living adopted?
--There was a group of people who believed in a middle ground, what did they do?
--How was the plight of the lower and middle classes even more pitiful to witness?
--Using context clues, who or what was a porter?
