Description
Students will learn about the people and events leading to the Civil War (the Antebellum Era and the causes of the Civil War) and the war itself with these 45+ primary source resources, activities, review projects, a powerpoint, and editable test. Topics covered include but are not limited to the Kansas-Nebraska Act, Bleeding Kansas, John Brown's Raid, the Dred Scott Decision, Ex parte Milligan, the Lincoln-Douglas Debates, secession, Ft. Sumter, Bull Run, Gettysburg, Antietam, the Anaconda Plan, the Emancipation Proclamation, women during the war, and MORE! All answer keys/rubrics/point distributions are included where appropriate. Most of the activities would be great for a sub!
