Description
Students will learn about the Cuban Missile Crisis (people, causes, course of, effects) by watching a 4 and a half minute video and answering 23 questions. The answers are included where appropriate. The video is from TedEd.
Sample questions include:
--Who led each side and with what method could the answer to question 1 happen?
--How was that connection proven to be a reality rather than a theoretical fear or threat?
--In what way could Khrushchev say he was acting in self defense?
--Rewrite Khrushchev’s response in your own words.
--At this point, what was unprecedented?
--What did this crisis reveal?
