Description
Students will analyze the Declaration of Independence and related images with these 4 activities. In one, students read the complete text, answer 15 questions and analyze 9 images. In the second, students read an account of when and how the Declaration of Independence was written and answer 10 questions. In the third resource, students are broken up into groups to read different parts of the Declaration and complete a jigsaw style activity with the text. They also respond to 10 true/false questions and answer 5 questions. In the last resource, students read 9 quotes about whether the 13 Colonies should be independent from Britain, answer 20 questions, and analyze 3 images. The answers are included where appropriate and these would work for a sub!
