  • DBQ 2 4 documents that focus specifically on reasons for Rome’s military decline
  • DBQ 3 6 documents that focus on various problems Roman Society encountered, leading to their decline
With each of these DBQ’s there are 3 possible activity options for students
  • Activity Option 1 – Students can answer the analysis questions for each document
  • Activity Option 2 – Students complete the “What Caused the Fall of Rome?”
Activity. This organizer asks students to explain what each document shows about the decline of Rome
 
Option 3 – Students complete the “Historical Perspectives” Activity. Here, they are asked to answer questions on the perspectives of Romans based on each document. Perspectives include Roman citizens, Roman Emperors, Roman soldiers, and more.
