Description
Students will review the events, acts, groups, people, and more from the Great Depression and New Deal with this timeline stations and map activity. They will first put together one timeline with 12 events and write academic identifications. They will then match 12 other events to their identification, expand on the identification, and put them in chronological order. The third station (or task) is image analysis and the final station (or task) is a map with 22 labels (plus identifying each state).
Sample timeline items include the Bonus Army march on D.C., Black Tuesday, the Emergency Banking Relief Act, AAA, TVA, FDIC, Fordney-McCumber Tariff, the Hoover Dam, and more!
Teacher information and the answers are included where appropriate. This would be great for a sub if used as an individual or pairs packet!
