The main goal of this lesson is for students to describe the process of events that allowed for civilization to form in Ancient Mesopotamia

For the activity, there are three different options based on two resources that describe how civilization formed in Mesopotamia
- Resource #1- 697-word reading
- Resource #2 – 298-word Information chart
Activity Option 1 – Based n the question sheet, students answer the comprehension and analysis questions based on each section of the reading
Activity Option 2 – Students use the reading/chart to complete the organizer where they describe the impacts of the different events on Mesopotamian society
Activity Option 3 - Students use the reading/chart to complete the “Which Event Came First” Activity. In this activity, students are given different options and must decide which event comes first.
