The History of Judaism – Information Card Activity
The main goal of this lesson is for students to examine summaries and quotes from the Torah to learn about Jewish history and beliefs.
***Please note that these information cards have video links in them. To get the most out of this resource, it is recommended laptops, iPads, or other digital devices are used***
For background information and activity instructions, a 7-slide PowerPoint is provided.
Information Card Activity:
There are 2 different options for the activity based on 5 Information Cards. Each information card is 300-400 words. Each info card includes a quick video on the topic to give students visuals of the information as well.
Tip: Dividing the cards among the class in a group or station activity is a great way to make the most out of these resources!
- Option 1:Information Card Question Sheet. There are 5-6 questions asking various comprehension and analysis questions on each topic.
- Option 2: Students are asked to use the information cards to answer the Essential Question:

This lesson has been adapted for digital learning. Students can use apps such as LuminPDF or Dochub to complete and submit the fillable PDF files.
