Description

Students will watch and analyze a 6 minute video to learn about the assassination of Julius Caesar, its causes and effects, and especially the role of Brutus by answering 24 questions and completing an extension task. The answers are included where appropriate and the video is from TedEd. 

Sample questions include:
--Why was this both personal and political for Brutus?
--Explain the two points of view by senators about Caesar.
--What united “the Liberators?”
--How did the course of the assassination change when Caesar saw Brutus?
--How many times was Caesar stabbed?
--Did assassinating Caesar accomplish the Senators’ goals, why or why not?
