This lesson on the Italian Renaissance guides students through the use of linear perspective. At the end, teachers have the option of assigning a visual analysis short essay question (SAQ) from the 2019 AP exam. Additionally, students will use their newly gained knowledge on linear perspective to draw a picture of their classroom or bedroom and answer a discussion question at the end. Teacher lecture notes are also included in this lesson. This lesson aligns with the APAH Course and Exam Description and covers form, function, content, and context for The Last Supper and School of Athens.
