Description
Students will read excerpts from the Magna Carta (15 line items), answer 16 text based questions, 2 opinion questions, and complete 3 creative tasks. This would be great for a sub and the answers are included where appropriate.
Sample questions include:
--Explain what is promised in item 9.
--In what way was item 12 potentially revolutionary at the time it was written?
--Explain the limits on power, or the protection to people, provided by number 30.
--Are items 41 and 42 more similar or more different and why?
--Why might number 54 have been included?
--What is the point of view of number 62? Why would it have been included?
