Even when students learn through traditional mediums (like PowerPoint), you can always make lessons more engaging by adding some meaningful activities. In addition to learning about form, function, content, and context for some pieces of Northern Renaissance art, students will be pushed to analyze art and art interpretations over time with this resource.
This resource comes as a Google Drive resource. When you download this resource, you will see the terms of use and printing notes. On the printing notes page, you will have a link to the Google Drive folder. You will need to make a copy of the material if you would like to edit it. All of these instructions, including a step-by-step visual guide on how to use this resource, is included in the terms of use. If you would like to print the resource material, you can do so. Simply go to "File," "Download," and "PDF" to save the resource as a PDF and print!

- Students will also complete a magazine art spread on the Arnolfini Portrait, with a special focus on how art historical interpretations change over time
- Video guide with answer key provided for a video on woodcutting and engraving by Dürer
- Teacher lecture notes are presented as individual Word documents that tell you exactly what to say for each slide (all the research is done for you)
- Student notes to write on as they follow along with the PowerPoint presentation
