Description

Thank you for your interest in THE PASSAGE OF  TIME

This is a year long memory book activity from:

Our products are designed to coordinate with fun holidays throughout the year. This packet begins with August, the start of the school year - but contains a full 17 months of items to be compatible with a January start as well.

The packet starts off with a variety of "about me pages" - including one specifically for homeschooling. There are also pages you can use for self portraits. It's always fun to keep these year to year or to send home at the end of the year as a gift to parents!

There are 17 months worth of calendar pages to use. There are color and black and white versions. The first sets are UNDATED and can be used year after year. Learners can use these. to record holidays, goals, assignments, test, vacations or any other information. They can also be used as the Gratitude calendar. (There is a specific black and white gratitude calendar further in the packet.) There is also an undated blank calendar for general anything use.

Next are the primary DATED calendars for the year. These will be updated annually in July or early August each year and available to re-download! Learners can trace the date, color the picture and the month name at the top of the page. This can be done all in one sitting, or the days can be traced each day as part of your morning routine or "calendar time". There are duplicates of some calendars for design purposes, print only what you need. If you need something different / custom please contact me ASAP and I will do my best!

WRITE YOUR NAME EACH MONTH is a great way to collect a simple writing sample each month. I ask my learners on the first "school day" of the month to use their BEST writing to write their first & last name on the line. Even my oldest learner uses the "primary" lines to form a beautifully scripted name. They then do the same for the month name. These worksheets come in and AUGUST start, a SEPTEMBER start as well as a traditional JANUARY start. They are also leveled for different ages. Simply print the one that best fits your learners.

The worksheet titled : DIFFERENT WAYS TO WRITE THE DATE is for older learners who are able to work a little more independently. You know if your learner is ready or interested in this type of activity. I used this in both my home and classroom. As the days and months progress learners become more experienced with writing, remembering capitals and punctuation as well as the proper numerical notations. Learners who need more room can easily do this activity on their own paper.

Add the Weather Tracking activity for the FULL experience!

I hope you enjoy documenting the year this way and make many cherished memories!
