The Printing Press Mini Lesson

Students will get a mini lesson style overview of Gutenberg's printing press with these 14 slides, an 18 question note guide, and two optional videos. The slides briefly touch on the history of written works, what started leading to the printing press, the press itself, and its legacy/influence. The resource has been provided as a power point and in PDF format for your convenience (especially if you want to print this to use as a gallery walk). The note guide answers are included.

--Summarize the purpose of the printing press.
--Why do you think it became such a prevalent industry in Europe?
