Description
Students will learn about Ancient China's terracotta army and a bit of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's reign by watching this 4 and a half minute TedEd video and answering 21 questions. The answers are included where appropriate.
Sample questions include:
--What was a driving question for the motivations of the emperor leading into this video?
--What were 2 of his key accomplishments?
--Identify the academic term for what he started working on right when he came to power. Explain the purpose of working on this project.
--Explain the role of artisans in this project.
--How do the terracotta warriors differ today from when they were originally made?
--Which other civilization parallels some of Emperor Qin’s choices?
