Description
This is a great resource for students to practice blending CVC Words. It includes 45 touch and read CVC words!
Here are the best use practices:
- Cut and laminate word strips and pictures (for added durability, print on cardstock)
- Students touch and say the sound for each letter then practice blending the CVC word together.
- After blending, they find the matching picture
- Students can complete the accountability cut and paste worksheet for more practice blending CVC words.
- Words can be separated by vowel sound or put together for more practice!
This activity can be repeated many times for fluency and increased practice. Students can never have too much practice blending CVC words!
*If you notice students are guessing, I will cover up all of the pictures and have the student sound out and tell me the word before I show them the pictures.
