TWISTED HISTORY: Industrial Revolution & Reformers

is a CAH-style question & response card game, with a little "twist". There's an exact answer out there!

One player draws & reads a colored QUESTION card. The others try to answer it from 10 RESPONSE cards in their hand. They hand it face down to the Card Master (CM) who shuffles and reads them with the question/prompt. If there's a match, that player get a point (can be multiple matches each round). If one matches the exact answer, that player gets 1 extra point.

So many different ways this game can be played AND take the conversation. Sometimes serious. Sometimes funny. Sometimes a little sketchy. But, overall it:

- keeps the kids interacting with each other & the content...

- STRENGTHENS their use of vocabulary by making it more common...

- makes students think on their toes...

- encourages them to find creative ways of formulating complete sentences...

- lets them have a little fun with humor and creativity while being exposed to those difficult concepts & terms in history.
