US History EOC Review Activity Eras Review Card Sort Major Events STAAR Review

Are you looking for a hands-on review for the major events/people/court cases etc. of each ERA of US History? This EOC STAAR review activity is a hands-on card sort review and focuses on the big things of each era.

It's EDITABLE in PowerPoint, so if you need to change out a term, feel free to do so!

What's included?

• 12 eras of US History (see preview) with 14 terms (events, people, court cases, acts, amendments, battles - you name it) for each era. EDITABLE!
• Just print an extra copy for your KEY

How to use in class?

• I did this the last week before our EOC test - so I cut EVERYTHING up and put them in baggies - 1 baggie for each group of about 4 kids. They sort the terms under the era.
• With a class of struggling learners, I would limit the eras to 3-4 (or two if they are really struggling) - so that they are not so overwhelmed.
• I have them put the terms up top that they don't remember and I do a quick reteach of those terms - whole class.
