(I.e. content related to history of Mayan sacrifices and etc is omitted for this lesson and only brief mention of their religious beliefs is provided). This is not to say you can't teach that in your own class, but only that this is not part of particular content pack. While I understand the benefit of teaching history in its entirety, my lessons are designed for use in my own classroom and therefore I have to follow my school policy, which I hope you can understand as a fellow teacher. :)
