West Africa in World History PowerPoint and Note Guide

Students will learn about the West African kingdoms and empires of Ghana, Mali, Songhai, Benin, and Hausa with this presentation and note guide. The PowerPoint is 21 slides and the note guide has 36 questions/tasks (short answer, true/false/fix, fill in the blank, and a summary task) and a map activity. The topics covered include each group's rise and fall, trade connections, key individuals, achievements, and more!  For your convenience, the presentation has been included as a PowerPoint and PDF (so you can print this to use as a gallery walk).  The answers are included where appropriate.
