Westward Expansion Primary Source Analysis Bundle

Students will read and analyze primary sources to get a deeper understanding of the people, events, debates, and more from westward expansion, the Mexican-American War, and Manifest Destiny. The topics include Manifest Destiny, the California Gold Rush of 1849, Texas Annexation, the Spot Resolution, the Mexican-American War, the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, and the Compromise of 1850. Many of the sources include point of view analysis, image analysis, extension tasks, and one is a DBQ. The answers are included where appropriate and these would be great for a sub!
