Description
This activity packet is based on the book When Sophie Gets Angry -- Really, Really Angry....by Molly Bang. It is the story of a little girl named Sophie, who learns that it's okay to be angry.
It can be used as an introduction to a bullying unit or simply to discuss some anger outbursts or bullying that have been happening in class or during recess. The activity guide includes pre- and post-reading discussions, comprehension questions, vocabulary and synonyms, role playing activities and writing assessments.
This is a perfect book to use in class to help students understand that anger is a normal feeling and there are ways to deal with it.
