3rd grade teacher in Illinois here. We had created a beautiful foldable project based on note taking, boxes and bullets (main idea with details) Who Would Win Project. Super fun and engaging for the students! Unfortunately we are now stuck at home for the next few weeks and have to do E Learning with our students. Here is the link to the project we created, that I have added an E Learning component to. Students can choose a category of animals to battle and research the animal facts for different categories all online! You can either use it and print it in packets for parents to pick up *Some districts are going this way on Monday* OR if you use seesaw there is a link provided for students to do it electronically in a seesaw activity with online research links OR you can email it to parents as an option for them to print at home for their kids to do. There are rubrics to use as well. Directions are included for the e learning. Extremely versatile! Just thought I would share as this is something that might take them a decent amount of time that encompasses both literacy and writing standards that is self lead.
