Description
Students will watch and analyze a 4 and a half minute video on the 1913 march on Washington, D.C. for the right to vote by answering 22 questions and completing a creative task. The answers are included where appropriate and the video is from TedEd.
Sample questions include:
--Identify what some of the controversies could have been in the planning period for the march.
--Was this a spur of the moment movement, why or why not?
--Why did Alice Paul pursue a constitutional amendment for women to have the right to vote?
--Summarize Ida B. Wells' historical significance and role in this march.
--What was the effect of the mistreatment of women on the movement?
