Description
World War I American Homefront - Reading Stations & Lesson Plan
This is a fun activity to do with your students as you learn about World War I! In this, students will visit 8 stations and read about some of the different organizations created to help with the war effort as well as the impact it had on key groups of people. At each station they will complete questions to go along with the readings. At the end, they will complete a reflection activity.
I really like doing these types of activities because it gets students up and moving, but there are so many different ways you could do this activity:
- Paired partner/group reading
- Expert reading stations
- Classroom reading stations
