Version 1: Prompt, Labeled pictures

Version 2: Prompt, Parts of Speech word samples, Checklist

Version 3: Editable prompt space (you can add your own prompt), Brainstorm word space, Checklist

Version 4: Creative Narrative writing using the same theme.

The pages with the labels are targeting your ELL and low-language students. The other pages have a brainstorming space for listing parts of speech words related to the picture. A list has been provided for the teacher to help students identify nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs related to the theme. A creative, narrative writing page is a part of each theme. This writing packet has been created to provide inspiration to give the students direction with their writing.

    Great activity for early finishers. Clear expectations outlined with the anchor charts so students can complete these on their own. The way to get better at writing is to practice. Fun topics sure to attract a variety of students!
