2-4 Seasonal and Holiday Worksheets

This product contains resources for 9 different seasonal or holiday activities. Included are:

Earth Day Cause and Effect Worksheet-  This worksheet contains a graphic organizer with pictures appropriate for Earth Day study. Students can fill in the missing information and add a sketch. Also included are 2 word searches. One word search has words listed in a forward direction. The other word search is more challenging with words listed forwards and backwards

My Snowman at Night Activities- This bundle contains multiple items that can be used to supplement read alouds or guided reading lessons that feature Snowmen at Night. In this resource, you will find: ideas for read aloud or K level guided reading lessons that includes before, during, and after reading activities, suggestions for center activities and comprehension questions based on Bloom's taxonomy, ten printable cards with vocabulary words/phrases from the story, printable matching activity with words and phrases, two different vocabulary worksheets, a booklet students can use to write about their own snowman's adventures at night, and four different comic strip template to encourage using dialogue when writing.

Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Special Person Booklet-Students can make booklets for Mother's Day or Father's Day. Also included is a booklet with a blank for the name so any other special person can be recognized.
Just print the pages single sided, cut in half, lay top half of the pages over the bottom half of the pages, and staple.
All booklets follow the same format with pictures to color and room to draw and write.

Valentine’s Day Printable Valentines- This resource consists of 16 printable Valentine’s Day cards in 8 different designs. Eight cards have sentence frames to complete on the back and eight cards have writing lines on the back. 

Valentine’s Day Booklet- Students can write and draw about people, places, or things that they care about.

Turkey Math- These coloring sheets allow students to choose the color and create a key for each sum or difference. Students can choose colors of their choice for any parts of the picture that does not have a math fact. There are a total of 4 sheets that include the following:

Addition with sums to 5, Subtraction with a difference of 5 or less, Addition with sums to 10, Subtraction with differences between 5-10

Summer Math Picture Puzzles-This PDF contains 10 puzzles in total. There are 2 groups of puzzles on each page. Each puzzle has 4 equations to solve. Numbers are represented by a combination of picture symbols and numerals. Most picture symbols have a summer or beach theme. There are mainly addition and subtraction problems. Two puzzles contain a total of 3 equations that include multiplication. Students need to find the value of each symbol. Pages can be projected or printed out. There is a key for each puzzle page as well as an optional printable worksheet for students to record their work. 

Summer Decodable Booklet- 10 page booklet that students can use during shared or guided reading. Also included are matching and fill in the blanks worksheets.

Groundhog Day Venn diagram template- Can accompany a reading of Groundhog’s Runaway Shadow. A Venn diagram worksheet that include phrases in a word box. Students can choose which ones are about Phil, which are about Shadow, and which ones apply to both.
