We used The Orchard Book of Aesop’s Fables by Michael Morpurgo
Ancient fables have taught the generations moral standards and codes of conducts. Simple stories that give us pause and helps us to see the truths that we should live by. This unit was created for the average second or third grade student.
There are 5 weeks of activities (25 days in total). Included are:

This is a fun and easy way to introduce character building while reading engaging simple stories. I have had great success with this unit and hope that you and your students will enjoy it as well.
