Whose world geography class is ready for an amazing race around Europe? This mini-unit is geared towards creativity, research, and critical thinking as students complete a series of challenges on the amazing race.
This resource contains:
Day 1:The Race is One: Students will complete exploratory questions on the region.
Day 2: Road Map: Students will complete a map in which they put important landmarks on an outline map. (map not included)
Day 3-5: Detour: Students will be completing a project on the region
Day 6-8: Roadblock: Students will complete a challenge activity on the region such as baking a traditional food or reciting a poem from the area.
Day 9-11: U-Turn: Students will prepare and engage in a roundtable activity
