Artist Museum of Fame - Post-AP Art History Exam Project

Congratulations! Your students have successfully completed their AP Art History exam, and you, as a teacher, are done teaching content from the 250. But what should you do for the remainder of this school year?

Welcome to the Artist Museum of Fame project! In this assignment, students will pick an artist and research their life, compiling their findings into a presentation. Then, students will recreate a piece of artwork by their chosen artist. Finally, students will pick one piece of art from the artist to create a PodCast, analyzing the selected art for form, function, content, and context. Students will vote on their favorite presentations at the end, and the winner will be admitted into the Artist Museum of Fame. This project comes with a rubric and student art samples.
