Description
What is an autotroph, and what is a heterotroph? What are other names for autotrophs and heterotrophs? I know they form a food chain, but where (which level)? Can I identify examples of each? Middle school science students face this series of questions in an ecology-themed energy flow unit. Students will be able to answer these questions after reading and completing this full-page activity sheet. Students will classify fifty-eight species as either autotroph (AT) or as heterotroph (HT).
This PDF file will become editable upon conversion to Microsoft Word using an Adobe Acrobat Reader DC app. I provided a key with the distinguished answers in bold blue and red font. I edited this lab with the premium version of Grammarly.
