Here are 2 fun activities that will help your students get to know each other!
Activity 1
“X” Fun is a perfect activity to get your students talking and feeling comfortable with each other. Students will also practice their basic multiplication facts. “X” Fun is a partner or small group activity. The students roll 2 dice and find the product of the 2 numbers on the code sheet. On the code sheet is a question for students to answer and discuss with their partner or group.
There are 4 rounds with different types of quick and easy questions. Each round contains 11 questions.
Here are some examples:
- What is your favorite snack food?
- If you could have your room filled with candy, what kind of candy would it be?
- Describe your favorite pair of shoes.
You can make this activity as long or as short as you wish.

Activity 2
High 5 is a simple activity. It is a great activity to use as an icebreaker on the first day of school.
