This lesson is designed to be an introduction activity for students. Students will be provided with background information about slavery in the 13 colonies. They will show what they know by completing engaging in classroom activity that will require them to use their high order thinking skills.
The activity will require students to complete an individual activity titled "Generating Questions".
This lesson also features both a lesson extension, closing activity, and project ideas.
