Description
This worksheet and PowerPoint Presentation are to supplement the podcast History Detective. Case 14: Child Migrants to Australia after WWII, explored the long hidden story of the orphan and not quite orphan children who were sent by the British government to the shores of Australia to live and work in charity organisations that mistreated them and lied to them about their parents. One of the focus skills for the lesson is reliability of sources, however students will also build vocabulary, analyse sources, engage with the historical concepts of context, perspective, motive, implicit and explicit evidence, audience and context.
