Causes of the Civil War Timeline and More Project

Students will place 15 events/laws/people/etc that are causes of the Civil War on a timeline and complete 4 other tasks for those items using provided templates. They will then complete a news headlines activity for 4 other items that can be considered causes of the war and they will answer an academic question. Lastly, they will analyze a painting by answering 6 questions and then there is one last task to demonstrate an understanding of the topic as a whole. The answers are included where appropriate and this would be great for a sub! 

Timeline items include but are not limited to:
Kansas-Nebraska Act, Missouri Compromise, Texas Independence, Election of 1860, Dred Scott Case, John Brown's Raid, Compromise of 1850, and more!
