Colonization of North America PowerPoint

Students will learn about the people and events related to Spanish, French, and British colonization of North America, with the primary focus being on Great Britain. Topics also briefly introduce reasons for exploration and colonization, interactions between Native Americans and all 3 European powers, slavery in the English colonies, differences in life for men and women, and foreshadowing the reasons for increasing tension between the colonists and Great Britain. Review questions are scattered throughout the slides.
