Description
Congruence of Triangles: FURNITURE DESIGNER PROJECT. This is a perfect Real World Math Project for Geometry. Use this challenge to practice proving triangle congruency.
Triangular shelves are produced in various sizes. Due to a misunderstanding in the warehouse, all the shelves were mixed up before labeling and now nobody is able to label them correctly.
Each employee produces a lot of different sizes depending on the available lengths of the planks and describes them in their own way (sometimes lengths are given, sometimes angles are given, and sometimes both). You have received sketches of mixed-up triangular shelves from the warehouse.
Help to solve the problem of mixed-up shelves. Split the 18 shelves into 6 groups. Each group is a different shelf model.
Check which triangles are congruent by applying congruence theorems (SSS, SAS, ASA, HL/RHS).
