Description
Students create a one pager to learn about any current event. There are 12 requirements for students to fulfill of varying degrees of difficulty. Students can choose from one of 16 templates ranging from completely blank to having a spot for each piece of information. Topics students must cover include the source of information, individuals involved, a quote, a summary, point of view, connection to history, and more! Websites are provided as a starting point for student research. This would work for a sub if your students have internet, newspaper, or magazine access.
