This cumulative review project for social studies or history has students create an end of semester or end of year booklet to give future students an overview of what they can expect to learn in class and why it will be both interesting and relevant to their daily lives. There are 12 requirements involving text, images, and maps. Each is thoroughly detailed in the instructions and rubric. The file also contains instructions to create the booklet and 11 sample pictures.
This project will work in any social studies class, but especially a history one. This could also be modified on a smaller scale to be a unit review project or on a larger scale to be a whole year review project. A rubric is included but the point values are blank to accommodate your own grading scale. Due to space restrictions, not every permutation could be included in the rubric.
