Description
Students will learn about the people, events, causes, effects, beliefs, and more from Imperialism in World History (about 1880-1914) with a PowerPoint and note guide, primary sources, activities, projects, a review game, and an editable test. Topics include the reasons/motives for imperialism, the Berlin Conference, the Scramble for Africa, the White Man's Burden, the Boer War, British imperialism in India, the Sepoy Rebellion, people and events in China and Japan including the Boxer Rebellion and Matthew Perry, and more!
The activities include a DBQ, a vocabulary mix and match, a visual timeline review, 2 maps, true/false/fix, a one pager, trading cards and a cube, and 5 primary source resources (they include extension tasks, image analysis, and point of view).
Teacher information, answers, templates, and points distributions are included where appropriate. Many of the activities would be great for a sub!
