Fall Math Game and Activity - Addition - Find Sums of 10 - 1st and 2nd Grade

This product includes 2 fun fall-themed activities for finding sums of 10. Both activities are great for a math center.

Pumpkin Patch is an independent number search activity. The goal of the activity is for students to find 65 “pumpkins” or 65 combinations of 10. Students search the pumpkin patch to find 2 numbers that add up to 10. When they find a combination, they circle the 2 numbers and record a tally mark on their big pumpkin worksheet. For your more advanced students, have them find combinations of 10 using 3 or more numbers. This is a great activity for students to work on anytime throughout the day.

Pumpkin Pick 10 - Game

Pumpkin Pick 10 is more challenging than the Pumpkin Patch number search because students must find a missing addend to make 10. Students pick a card 1-9 and must find the missing addend on their fall scene to make a combination of 10.

Included:

• Fall-themed cards (numbers 1-9) color and black and white - 2 sets of cards (Other options instead of using the fall-themed cards: 12-sided dice, 6-sided dice, or playing cards)
• Fall scene (game board) black and white - The students color in the picture while playing the game.
• Answer key - sums of 10 (optional)
