Geography USA Mini Make a Map Activity

THIS is the way to learn USA geography! This 50-piece puzzle (each state is one puzzle piece) makes learning the USA  memorable. This map has been designed to be easy to piece together in the classroom or at home. Illustrated step-by-step lesson instructions are included. The finished map of the contiguous 48 states measures 14.5in(L) x 8.7in(H).

There are four versions so you can customize this map for your needs:

1) States in color with a fun font for the state name—students simply cut out the states and piece them together

2) States in color but otherwise blank—students can label and decorate the states before piecing the map together

3) Outline of states (no color) but with the state name printed on it—you might choose to print on colors of your choice--e.g., on red, white, and blue construction paper

4) Outline of states (no color) and completely blank—totally open ended for you and your students to choose the color and decoration

This also works well for distance learning and remote learning since it can be printed and assembled at home.
