Geography World Map Projections Activity Video Guide Analysis

World Geography students will learn about different map projections that have been used over the years and the challenges associated with creating an accurate world map by watching a 4 and a half minute video and answering 20 questions.

The video is from TedEd and the answers are included where appropriate. 

Sample questions include:
--What do all maps ever made have in common?
--Summarize how Ptolemy changed mapmaking.
--Why did people keep getting lost?
--How did the 1940s Dymaxion projection compare to previous ones?
--Explain the connection between map design and point of view.
