Description

This cute pineapple themed file has over 60 pages for you to print and use in your classroom. If your school is a Great Expectation (GE) school or even if it's not...this pack is GREAT to have in your classroom so that your environment is a pleasurable one. It includes the following:

-8 expectations
-44 life principles
-29 famous quotes
-labels for weekly word, quote, life principle, lexicon

If you are not familiar with GE then you may not know if you need this or not. Well, do you like to teach your kids about character traits and attributes that they should live by daily? (these are life principles - honesty, dedication, effort, attitude, respect, patience, etc.) . These 44 life principles are labeled and include a definition. All you have to do is print and display in your classroom! I like to focus on one each week.

Do you need something to replace your "rules"? Then use the 8 expectations. (#1 We will value one another as unique and special individuals. #2 We will not laugh at or make fun of another's mistakes, not use sarcasm or put downs.). Talk about these each morning and display them in the classroom for a reference.

Would you like to connect the expectations and life principles to real the real world? Then, display these quotes and refer to them often. It's neat to see how kids will respond to text by connecting to a famous quote. (example - Be satisfied with nothing but your best. -Well done is better than well said.) . These quotes can also be used as a classroom management tool....callbacks! Teacher says "Be bees no honey" students respond "no work no money".

I also have this pack available in a very cute teal and grey chevron theme. It includes the same information but with a different look.
