Description

While looking for a game to liven up the unit on Healthcare Systems, I decided to create this PowerPoint game where students will guess "high" or "low" when looking at common medical procedures (Think "Price is Right"!)

    Healthcare Systems and Costs

    Students loved the interactive nature of this game. Anytime that I am able to give them something to physically AND mentally interact with, they are much more engaged and ready for group discussions. Throw in a competitive element and a small prize for the winner, and you are looking at classroom GOLD!

    Great Activity. I wish instead of clicking on the piggy bank you could just advance the slide to show the correct answer.

    The HIGH LOW game

    This was a good engagement activity before we got into insurance. The kids were surprised at the cost of the procedures. Got them thinking about the realities of not having insurance!
