Illuminated Manuscript Art lesson Grades 6-12 requiring minimal materials

This art lesson is a great resource that is easily modifiable for all level learners. It can be done remotely at home with minimal supplies or created digitally with Photoshop or Procreate. It incorporates art history, text, fonts, typography, lettering, pattern, drawing and of course creating! Students love to do graffiti so this is a take on lettering that they can insert their personal preferences with. Students will be engaged and all your work is done! It even has a self evaluation/reflection section. I have done this lesson with middle school and it was a success.
